“A Wonder Into The Unknown” – photographic art

Photographic art 50cm x 75cm, printed on photographic paper and mounted on a thin acrylic plate, it’s ready to hang on the wall because it has two strong hatches on the back.

I took this photograph in 2015, during a two week stay in a simple but wonderful cabin by the beach close to Punta Allen in Quintana Roo, México. The closest town was a few kilometres away from the cabins and even if we had electricity and running water, there was no internet, no t.v. and this was a bliss at night the entire milky way would shine through so bright. Behind the cabins was a a patch of jungle leading to a shallow lagoon, what you see in the photo is the connecting path joining the cabins. I was probably bitten by 50 mosquitos in the few seconds I dared to stand still to take this photograph.
