What is slow fashion?👆
Most of us seem to know what fast fashion is, but have a hard time knowing what exactly is slow fashion 🤔
In this video, our founder: Therese, talks us through what slow fashion is and shows some examples from our store😍
Slow Fashion is an umbrella term for fashion which includes: Secondhand, Remakes (an already produced textile that is converted into a new item), small curated design collections from highly qualitative materials, new types of circular process like the production happens after the purchase, still with high qualitative sustainable fabrics 👉 Made to Order and an extended version of that is Made to measure, with your own measurements, and reduction over overproduction is a fact. It is the holistic approach to who made the product, where does it end up, can the fabrics be recycled etc 👉 it is about RESPONSIBILITY, and the desire to provide more sustainable options (and less fast fashion which pollutes heavily, connected to the abuse of women & children and all kinds of shit) with the love for design, fabrics, colours, expressions - still intact and thriving 🎉💚
