JF Peace Design | Brown/Red Slip Dress

INSPIRATION/CREATION

A petticoat which historically has been worn as an undergarment, is the idea behind a Slip Dress which has become an iconic piece of clothing since being worn by the iconic model Kate Moss in the early 1990’s.

This version is made from a selection of vintage silk ties combined with a light wool tweed, and further embellished with vintage crochet lace and a pair of diamanté shoe buckles to secure the shoulder straps. The dress is fully lined, has an invisible zipper at centre back, and a split at the back hem for ease of movement and style. °NOTE: there is an extra allowance on the shoulder straps to allow for lengthening if required (this can easily be altered by a tailor if necessary).
