INSPIRATION/CREATION

This body con dress is created from a hand-worked bed-cover…the textural crochet pattern is reminiscent of starbursts in the night sky, the bobbles are constellations. 

It has long sleeves, and is closed at the centre back with a zipper that is edged and enclosed with bands of black grosgrain ribbon. The neck is edged with grosgrain and trimmed with vintage woven passementerie braid which also extend to long ties at the back, ending with tassels.

MATERIALS :

° Hand Crochet Cotton Bedcover (overdyed)

° Grosgrain Ribbon

° Passementerie Braid

° Tassels 

° Silk binding (armhole)

CARE:

° may be hand-washed in luke-warm water with a gentle detergent.

° lay flat to dry 

° No tumble dry 

° Iron on the reverse side (due to the bobbles), or steam press
