Sweet Virginia Dress
A large white vintage cotton tablecloth with lace inserts, and lace edged hem ruffles;
and a Victorian inspired lace ruffle collar.
The dress has an invisible zipper closure at the back. The shoulder line has a cap sleeve effect. The dress is cut in twelve panels which gently flare into a full skirt shape.
The collar is created from vintage eyelet and gauze lace and ribbons and ties around the high neckline. The dress can be worn with or without the collar.

A dress inspired by volume and movement with a fun feel. Can be worn loose and free or pulled in at the waist with a sash or belt. The fabric is a silk dupion, embroidered with colourful flower motifs which feature mirrored aequin centres. The dress has hidden pockets at the side seams, and an invisible zipper at centre back. The bodice of the dress is created from a hand-embroidered traditional cross stitch table-cloth which has the same colour scheme. The neckband is edged with tiny multi-coloured bobbles, and there are jewel buttons at the back neck.
