About the shop: +Three°°°
By producing with care we take care of your future - fashion eco accessories made in Italy.
“Native, the first collection of + Three °°°, the new brand of bags and accessories made in Italy in which heritage goes hand in hand with respect for the environment. Native because they were born, literally, as an emanation of the DNA of a company whose goal is to minimize the impact of its production chain on the planet's economy.
The natural rubber with which they are made, coming from the Amazonian forest, an organic material whose slow extraction and conforms to the rhythms of nature is already in itself a guarantee of sustainability and protection of the indigenous population that takes care, generationally, of the production process.
There are 4 models of bags, each of which is unique in itself as it depends on the intrinsic characteristics of the material: two Tote Bags, large and small, with a casual and informal character, unlined and built with a raw cut, alongside a Mini Bag and a unstructured and sporty Backpack.”
What does the process of obtaining the natural rubber please look like:
“The first phase involves the extraction of latex from rubber trees by the communities of "siringueros" in some areas of the Amazon rainforest of Boca do Acre. After extracting the liquid, the next step is the spreading of the latex on raw cotton cloths. This long operation involves repeating this process seven times, to ensure homogeneity of the final result. After that, a long vulcanization process is carried out to fix the latex polymers to the cotton by smoking the cotton cloths on wooden piles. In the final phase of the process, during drying, the material will take on its final color passing from the white of the latex to dark brown.
