About the product
Who made it?
The garment is hand knit by women in a knitting cooperative outside of La Paz in Bolivia. We are proud to be able to pay a reasonable salary for the knitters’ fantastic craftsmanship.
Material
The garment is made of 100% Bolivian alpaca wool, which is a lightweight, durable and warming natural material. Alpaca wool is also known not to itch or cause allergies. The alpacas graze freely in the mountains and are cut only by hand. The yarn is spun at a local spinning mill outside La Paz that uses environmentally friendly processes for washing and dyeing.
