The Iron Roots performance (PF) line is meant for any workout that you engage yourself in. From relaxing yoga to intense CrossFit, our plant-based performance line will enhance your experience, with its antibacterial and breathable properties.
Running, cycling, or just hanging out. With our PF72.Hemp jogger, you can do it all. The hemp in this jogger makes it antibacterial, while the organic cotton gives it a soft, comfortable touch on your skin.
We have also fitted this jogger with handy zippers, in which you can store small items during your workout. This way you´ll never lose them again.
About the shop: Iron Roots
More than 90% of all athletic apparel is made from plastics like polyester and nylon. Every time you wash them, tiny pieces of plastic get released. These tiny pieces are called microplastics, and they can end up polluting our oceans. At Iron Roots, we make an alternative to this; natural athletic apparel made from sustainable and high performing materials like hemp, beechwood, and eucalyptus.
About the product
Sizing and Fit
This jogger has an athletic fit and forms well around your body. If you usually have size M, you should also pick size M with this one.
Our model is 180 cm / 5’11” and is wearing size M.

Materials and Care
This jogger is made from a durable mix of 30% hemp and 70% organic cotton, which has been processed into a custom fleece fabric. This fabric and design combination is called PF72.Hemp.
All of our products are made with materials from natural origin, which don’t need as harsh cleaning treatments as other, synthetic sportswear. We suggest the following care instructions for all of our products, to ensure that they will keep their performance and last longer.
▪ Wash at 30 degrees.
▪ Don’t tumble dry.
▪ Don’t use bleach.
▪ Iron with medium heat.
▪ Wash with the same colors.
▪ Fabrics from natural origin can shrink a little bit after washing them, which we have taken into account with our sizing.
Production
This product is designed in our headquarters in The Netherlands. We produce our sportswear locally (within Europe), to ensure sustainability, responsible sourcing, and ethical production. This product is produced at our factory in Greece. Our factory has GOTS and SMETA certifications, and we visit them on a regular basis. Besides that, we work with them to source our raw materials, yarns, and fabrics from European countries, which is something we are very dedicated to at Iron Roots.
Hemp
Hemp is one of the most sustainable fibers that can be used for clothing. It requires up to 70% less energy when compared to polyester and up to 75% less water and land when compared to regular cotton. Our hemp is sourced from Turkey and further processed in Greece.
Organic Cotton
Our organic cotton is GOTS certified and sourced within Europe. By having the GOTS certificate, we can ensure that our cotton has been grown responsibly and with ethical circumstances for the people involved in the processing of our organic cotton.
Chemicals
This product and the dyes used to create it are both OEKO-TEX certified, which means that it has been thoroughly tested for harmful chemicals throughout the supply chain. That is how we create healthy, BPA-free sportswear.
