Iron Roots | Polo T-Shirt – Arctic Blue

And as the material construction of 70% wood-based fibers and 30% organic cotton is naturally antibacterial, you can seamlessly keep wearing the polo from a sweaty match to your next meeting and other daily activities. The regular fit and snug sleeves ensure optimal body movement, while looking good on any occasion.

The fabric has a light blue shade, which we have called Arctic Blue. We have printed our logo on the chest and to emphasize the use, we designed a minimalistic icon, representing the range of ball sports that are associated with polo shirts. To finish off the design, have created a sturdy, ribbed collar and used two metal buttons to accommodate your personal preferences.

Sizing and Fit

This polo has a regular fit and is tailored around the arms. If you usually have size M with your polo’s, you should also pick size M with this one.

Our model is 180 cm / 5’11” and is wearing size M.

Materials and Care

This polo is made from 70% TENCEL™ Lyocell and 30% organic cotton, which has been processed into a custom lightweight pique fabric. This fabric and design combination is called PF28.Wood.

All of our products are made with materials from natural origin, which don’t need as harsh cleaning treatments as other, synthetic sportswear. We suggest the following care instructions for all of our products, to ensure that they will keep their performance and last longer.

▪ Wash at 30 degrees.
▪ Don’t tumble dry.
▪ Don’t use bleach.
▪ Iron with medium heat.
▪ Wash with the same colors.
▪ Fabrics from natural origin can shrink a little bit after washing them, which we have taken into account with our sizing.

Production

This product is designed in our headquarters in The Netherlands. We produce our sportswear locally (within Europe), to ensure sustainability, responsible sourcing, and ethical production. This product is produced at our factory in Greece. Our factory has GOTS and SMETA certifications, and we visit them on a regular basis. Besides that, we work with them to source our raw materials, yarns, and fabrics from European countries, which is something we are very dedicated to at Iron Roots.

TENCEL™ Lyocell
This material is sourced from European FSC certified forests, where trees are grown and regrown when they are used to create products. They are then further processed by Lenzing in Austria, which has won multiple awards for their sustainability efforts and who are widely regarded as some of the most sustainable and innovative manufacturers in the clothing industry.

Organic Cotton
Our organic cotton is GOTS certified and sourced within Europe. By having the GOTS certificate, we can ensure that our cotton has been grown responsibly and with ethical circumstances for the people involved in the processing of our organic cotton.

Chemicals

This product and the dyes used to create it are both OEKO-TEX certified, which means that it has been thoroughly tested for harmful chemicals throughout the supply chain. That is how we create healthy, BPA-free sportswear.
